Measured’s gone international, with Rough House featured in the Architecture Exhibition at the 16th edition of Biennale di Venezia.
The collaboration features photographer Andrew Latreille documenting the transformation of Rough House over four years, from framing to living. The collection, titled THEN and NOW, records the process of the Rough House construction team in incorporating sustainable practices and attention to detail during the build. Also featured is a video that explores the process of the construction of the home.
From Andrew Latreille: “THEN and NOW is an ongoing photographic exploration. It explores the notions of impermanence and memory looking into juxtaposition, into what happens – and what results – during the making of architecture. It outlines the creation, and shows the finished work.”
THEN and NOW is featured at the Time Space Existence exhibit, located in Palazzo Mora. Open six days a week (closed Tuesdays) from 10-6, you can visit the exhibition until Nov. 25, 2018.
