As part of a series featuring local design leaders, Modern Home Magazine Vancouver recently spoke with Measured Principal Piers Cunnington. The interview focused on Piers’ approach to design and the constant collaboration Measured engages in, as well as future opportunities and current, engaging work. Piers was quick to discuss our exciting project focusing on modular, net-zero prefabricated homes, the first of their kind in Canada.
“We are currently finalizing the details required for these high-performance modules to go into production. The modules will be fabricated in Revelstoke by Adaptive Homes and then shipped to their site on Salt Spring Island. We are thankful to work with clients [Enova Residential] and a contractor that have the vision and skill to bring this ambitious typology to the market.” – Piers Cunnington
The Net-Zero Prefab is currently in construction. We look forward to sharing updates later this summer as construction on the first home ramps up, followed by transportation and site install.
