Why Measured?
Their dedication to craftsmanship. The way they translate vernacular precedents into present-day thinking allows for buildings full of integrity, permanence and longevity. It doesn’t hurt that they like to drink beers on Friday afternoons, either.

I wish I’d designed
The saddle. It has all the qualities that architecture should aspire to. It has no details or ornament to date it. It looks and functions better through time and use. It will never be obsolete and needs virtually no upkeep. It’s both humble and exquisite.
