Why Measured?

Measured is always seeking perfection. Working here, I have the opportunity to broaden my architecture and construction knowledge, both at an extremely high level.

Path to architecture

I grew up with Lego, building things, destroying them, and then starting from scratch over and over. Eventually I moved on to a bigger scope.

I’m drawn to design because

It lets your creativity speak for itself. There is always something to learn from and improve on. Every project is an opportunity to question yourself and your surroundings, which I love.

Architect I admire most

Mies van der Rohe for the beauty in simplicity of his designs.

Materials that excite me

Wood + Steel.

I chose Vancouver because

Its surrounding environment, which is so incredible. It really keeps you down on earth.

I’m influenced by

Nordic and wooden Architecture.

I’m inspired by

Nature + simple geometry.

I’m concerned about

Improving my everyday habits to minimize my impact on the environment.

When I’m not working you can find me

Walking the streets, looking up above at the trees and buildings.

Go-to unit of measurement

The meter.
